The company was founded in June 2020 by Lisa Chigonda, at the height of the pandemic with the aim to create a platform for commercial property specialists, investors, and senior debt lenders to joint venture on profitable property developments. The name Boni Sana derives from the Swahili word meaning ‘joint consultation’.

Since its inception, Boni Sana has also developed and launched a learning webinar platform on private lending for property specialists, investors, and introducers.
